The bars right above the battery icon on your screen should be animating/moving when you plugged the charger in the phone’s charger port/socket, which means the phone is charging.

If the animation has stopped, even though the charger is still connected, then that means that phone is fully charged.

If it has been three hours of charging and still your phone isn’t fully charged, then you might have a problem. It could either be your battery or your charger, either way, since it’s brand-new, then warranty and maintenance should be free (see if you still have your receipt or, on some phones, have the Nokia Care card that comes with the manual envelope of your phone).

Tech Dude answers:

For offline playback, you need to transcode for native playback, since there is no VLC type player for Symbian S60 devices at the moment. You can use a free trancoder called MediaCoder for that.

MediaCoder

http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/

For online streaming playback there’s a new mobile web browser called Skyfire, that renders everything remotely via Skyfire proxy with Firefox on a Windows XP machine. However I’d avoid doing any kind banking or privacy related stuff via Skyfire. Since all your data will tunnel through Skyfire systems unencrypted.

Wiring led’s in a truck 12-14V?

I have a cb radio with an external swr meter with no lights. i need to be able to see my swr gauge at night so i ran a pigtail soldered to the power in on the cb from inside the case out the back and it plugs into a panel mount jack i mounted on the swr meter. i could not connect to the dimmer switch on the cb so i need a way to dim the led‘s as well. the meter has two swing gauges side by side. i will mount two leds on the outer sides of the gauges on the inside of its case as well as two int he center directly between the two gauges. also will be two mounted on top of each gauge. so a total of 10 white led‘s. I want to mount the dimming switch on the back where the pl-259 connectors for the cb antenna come in. the led‘s i have purchased are 10,000 mcd brightness at www.superbrightleds.com part number RL5-W10015, info on this led http://www.superbrightleds.com/specs/w4_specs.htm .The voltage coming in is 12v – 14v. how do i need to wire these led‘s up with a dimming switch. (10k pot?)
well i got it working. I did two 4 led arrays and took out two of them. wired it got it working with a 220 ohm resistor on each string which didnt really need that anyway because if you take (4) 3.4 volt led‘s and take it away from 12 you end up with -1.6 in other words. (4) leds in series would require 13.6 volts to operate at max(optimal) brightness. being a car(mobile) application the alternator fluctuation would run around 13.4 normally and 14.5 max. these particular led‘s have a max forward of 4volt so they can handle up to 16 volts. unfortunately my cb radio died on me bc one of the power wires was shorted so its a no go anyway. but thanks for the info. wanted to comment for the guy who said it would cost too much who in their right mind is going to hold a flashlight on a meter while driving the whole night…nobody. i dont do half-a** crap i made it look factory installed. and for all the supplies it only cost me 6$ and my ime! thanks again for the info
autometer dimmer 30$ plus about 10 for shipping so thats what about 40$ thats more than id have in parts or the meter itself. dimming is simple. buy a panel mount 10k potentiometer. on the inside of the case solder two of the legs together to one side of the cut power wire. then attach the other side to the remaining leg. when you turn the pot it will fade from 10k to 0k which will in effect lower the voltage from 12 to 0 therefore dimming the led‘s

Because the voltage drop across each LED is 3.4 volts, you will need al least 34 volts for 10 LEDs.

The least you can run with 3.4 volt drop is four LED’s with a 22 ohm resistor and this is figuring 14 volts.

Yes! Keywords and landing pages, terminology from the world of Internet marketing and business, but many are not familiar with the concept behind it. I keep seeing people ask “how can I get the best keywords for my site?” or “What is a landing page?” So here’s the simplest explanation I can give.

Keywords are words or phrases that people enter the search engine to search for something, they are also the words used in a Web site in the title or content of a site.

squeeze pages are the sales pages or landing page. Sometimes just a page or if you have an automatic response may come in groups of three or four.

Of course, it does not say much that is simply an explanation of these two, to understand what they are and use them in your favor is a different thing. As with everything it takes time to build your network, including these two simple ideas, but you can do many keywords for each niche and why have just a landing page when you can have everything ready for tens each of your keywords.

Domain names, meta tags, meta description and title page headers and page content must be as close as possible to the keywords you want to dominate, broad match, exact match and exact phrase and long tail have to be considered and used in the same place immediately established a position as the top search rankings for search terms used.

It’s simple but effective, especially when you can not start words in the air and say “yes, we will reach the top with them.” Maybe no one thinks of those words and no more visitors. Also for example, if everyone in a hundred people per day between the keywords you’ve chosen, it will probably not become the success you want to be and even if you use keywords that one hundred thousand people per day during a search that are unlikely to reach the top of a page for a while.

We must be more strategic, we need to put these things together in thought, must be able to beat the competition. That’s why they say you can have dozens of landing pages and in turn tens of keywords, even if you only have a product to sell.

different combinations of keywords or keyword long tail is the way you have to think phonetically related words are powerful tools of Internet marketing.

When you set up with the keywords a maximum of thirty thousand websites around the world listed in the order of words is an excellent place to start, it’s really possible to reach the top of the charts to join these guidelines.

You guys look at this..?

Science tests have shown Einstein’s Theory of Special Relativity to be correct. Web site links to well-established universities and NASA contain evidence supporting the reality of special relativity.

We have learned that special relativity is not a theory. The foundation for special relativity is so strong that we can use it to draw out principles (or axioms) to find out if a religion is from outside time-space (from God) or from the creative imaginations of human beings (inside time-space).

If you doubt the validity of using special relativity for this purpose then I suggest you review the ideas and proofs of {special relativity} by clicking here. After refreshing your memory, you can return to continue with these ideas.

For the purpose of studying religion, Einstein’s special relativity confirms that no “person” can time travel to the past. This is explained in practical terms by the idea of traveling faster than light speed. If you could get into a space ship and travel faster than light speed, then you could time travel back to when your mother or father was a child and play games. Or you could travel to the past (100 years ago) to portray yourself as a so-called prophet by writing about today’s events (such as September 11, 2001). This would be equivalent to writing a holy book with prophetic verses. People would potentially accept you as a prophet with words from outside time-space.

——————————————————————————–

Defining the “Einstein Method”

Imagine if you had a time machine that allowed you to visit any place or any time in history. For example, you could visit Tokyo in the year 1910. Upon arriving, you could warn that an earthquake would devastate Tokyo in 1923. At the same time, you could foretell of the economic depression that would engulf the world in the 1930s. That Japan would bomb Pearl Harbor in December 1941. And that the devastating World War would end with the dropping two new bombs so powerful that each would destroy an entire city in Japan in August 1945. Millions of people would be lost in the war so it should be avoided at all cost.

Do you think that people in Tokyo would listen to you after the earthquake in 1923? Some people would believe you, but most would choose not to believe. Maybe it’s a random event? Do you think that people would listen after the nation entered the great depression in the 1930s? Probably more would now start to believe, but certainly not the majority. When the Japanese government attacked Pearl Harbor in December 1941, how many more would believe?

What is the Einstein Method?

If I had a time machine capable of letting me travel to the past, I could foretell the future from any time and place in history. However, Einstein showed that time-space will not permit time travel to the past. It is impossible! Therefore, we can conclude that if a religion does accurately foretell the future, then the source of prophecy must come from outside time-space. I like to call this approach to analyzing religious beliefs the “Einstein Method.” From this point forward, I will refer to this method as the Einstein Method. This method permits us to determine if God has spoken words to human beings from outside time-space or if the religion comes from the creative imagination of human beings (inside time-space).

What are the principles (better called axioms) that can be gathered from special relativity and used to analyze various religions? It is logical that they must be based on the time-space continuum. It appears that all created beings [humans, extra terrestrials, created spiritual beings such as angels, or unknown created beings] are subject to the laws of special relativity. In contrast, a Super Being(s) (the Creator or Creators) living outside time-space would not be subject to the limits of time-space. These opposing ideas are given as follows:

Created Beings:

Locked inside the time-space continuum.
Time-space does not allow travel at speeds greater than the speed of light.
Time-space does not permit “time-travel” to the past.
Conclusion or Axiom

Created beings are NOT capable of foretelling the future.

Non-Created Being(s): (the Creator or Creators)

The Creator(s) exists OUTSIDE “time-space”
The Creator(s) is the SOURCE of “time-space”
The Creator(s) is NOT limited by the “time-space” continuum.

Conclusion or Axiom

The Creator(s) can consistently and accurately foretell future events to created beings existing inside the “time-space” continuum.

All people agree that humans cannot time travel to the past or foretell future events. However, if the Creator(s) truly exists outside the control of time-space, then the Creator(s) is not controlled by time-space limits. The Creator(s), not being limited by time-space, could reveal the future to human beings locked inside time-space. In other words, the Creator(s) would know the future and could reveal it through a so-called prophet. Then we would know that the Creator(s) exists and gain a better understanding humanity’s purpose.

It is important to stress that if the Creator(s) truly reveals spiritual truth to humanity, then the revealed truth would have consistent and accurate prophecy. The following diagram supports this truth since time would have no control whatsoever over this Super Being (s).

If a religion occasionally gets a prophecy right, then misses the mark on other prophecies, then the one true prophecy is most likely a random (lucky) event.
Is this a confirmation?
it is Unbiased, its from a study of Harvard researchers

I could not read everything (it’s really really long, sorry). Anyway, i think that traveling back and predicting the future can be pretty dangerous. There were many ages when witches were burned alive, people were scared of what they could not understand. Would you risk that, for the pride of predicting something in an old world (where you probably don’t want to live in anyway) ?

On the other hand, it is an acceptable explanation regarding the prophets from god

What do you think of this excerpt from my book?

I stared at the dark ceiling. Tears streaked down my face for what seemed like forever, occasionally falling into the corners of my lips. My heart felt like it was broken into a million pieces. He loves me. I choked on a sob and knotted my hands in my hair in frustration. Shaking my head furiously, I sat up and hugged my knees, burying my tear stained face in them. I loved him too, but what the hell was I thinking? I whimpered at myself, why was I so stupid? He and my best friend hated me, and my boyfriend would too if he found out. I’d be even more alone than I already was.
Hannah rustled in her bed, “Emma?” she moaned groggily. I sniffed and turned my back to her. I crossed my fingers wishing she was sleep talking. Thankfully, a light snore followed her voice. I looked over at her, sleeping peacefully, and glanced at the clock. 3:46.
She was so lucky. She was so lucky she wasn’t pregnant. She was lucky that no one hated her, whereas, everyone hated me. She was lucky no one thought she was a slut, hell even I thought I was a slut. I fisted my hair and screamed silently into my pillow. I needed him. I needed him so bad. His arms, his face, the way he held me, just him. I’d been trying for so long to replace his face with Evan’s, but it didn’t work. It never did, despite what I wanted. I wiped my face with the back of my hand, and swung my feet out of bed. My old coat daunted me from the open closet door. I threw it on over my pajamas, and slipped out of my bedroom with a slight click of the handle.

Really good
here’s three things that you should fix:
1. When writing, never say what time it is unless its absolutely unnecessary instead you can say it’s early evening, or early morning, or the sun is setting
2. I am not sure if you did this but, make sure to never put the same word twice in a sentance
3. Start with different sentance openers, other than i, he, she, they, then, when, that, my, at the begining put words that end with ed, or ly, ing, or although, teenagers, stuff like that you know??
So just change the way you start your sentences and it will flow a lot nicer

Was this American citizen human rights, civil rights and freedom of speech rights violated by school?

The U.S. Supreme Court rejected an appeal today by Novato school district officials who confiscated a student newspaper because of an editorial urging that any Latino who couldn’t speak English be detained as a probable illegal immigrant.

A state appeals court in San Francisco ruled last May that the Novato Unified School District had violated the rights of Andrew Smith, who wrote the editorial in the Novato High School newspaper, the Buzz, in November 2001. The court relied on a California law that protects free expression by public school students more strongly than the constitutional rights guaranteed under the First Amendment.

The district appealed unsuccessfully to the state Supreme Court and then to the U.S. Supreme Court, which denied review today without comment.

Smith, who was then 18, wrote in his editorial that immigrants should stay out of the country if they can’t go to the trouble of becoming citizens. He added that authorities “should treat these people the way cops would treat a suspected criminal. If a person looks suspicious then just stop them and ask a few questions, and if they answer, ‘Que?’ detain them.”

After some students and parents protested, school district officials pulled remaining copies of the newspaper out of circulation and sent a letter to parents saying the editorial shouldn’t have been published.

Smith and his father, Dale Smith, sued in Marin County Superior Court, claiming that the district had illegally censored the piece and subjected the younger Smith to public reprimand for expressing unpopular positions.

Smith’s lawsuit was dismissed by a Superior Court judge, who noted that the editorial had been published and that the student hadn’t been disciplinedhttp://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/artic…….

I like Jules Bastien-Lepage and his painting, but Joan of Arc is not one of his best.

Everything is fine except the voices, the angels. He can do peasants, beggars, portraits, emotions, but can’t do angels.

Please review this excerpt from my book? (Short)?

This is rough, and I am looking for some constructive criticism. Please help with this- I’m sick of saying I , me, my, the whole time. It is in first person, so obviously it will be like that, but i think it’s too much. Please help with grammer, change of words, etc. I was kind of emotional when I wrote this, I guess it was a good thing, because my character is kind of screwed over in this part. haha. It might be hard to understand, but Hannah is her sister. That’s all I’ll say. Please review! Thanks!
Oh and don’t be harsh please? I’m 15. My character is too.

I copied it from Microsoft and the paragraphs disapeared. He, is the guy she’s freaking out about. and thanks
oh and if i added why her friend hates her, I’d practically post 10 pages on here, so that’s a no-no:(

Its okay. You do have some choppy sentences in there and your writers voice isn’t strong enough. My suggestion is to look for words that you want to use bigger more important words (I think that’s the word haha) but its okay. You do need to fix a few things.

Oh and don’t mention your age no one really cares. You can be 15 and the best or worst writer ever or you could be 80. It doesn’t matter. Just a word of advice.

Do you think this will help or hinder our politics forum?

I just went over to Y!A “What’s New” to read up on this latest “REPORT IT” button situation and why they’ve created it. There is a lot of decent information over there and I’ve copied and pasted some of it:

1.Click on the Report It button when you see a question or answer that violates the new Community Guidelines.
2.Once you submit your report, a new behind-the-scenes process begins. This system automatically measures the contributions and reporting history of both the reporter and the person being reported.
3.The new system then determines whether it can remove the reported question or answer directly from the site based on community input or whether further review is needed.
4.Since this is a Beta, Yahoo! Customer Care will continue to assist in reviewing reported questions and answers. They will also continue to address appeals to violations.
We realize the concept of community moderation is potentially scary, so we built the system to rely on the reputations of community members. Reputations will be built up over time and fluctuate based on the accuracy of an individual’s contributions.
Community members who build a record of correctly reporting questions and answers that violate our guidelines will become a trusted reporter and gain influence when they report. On the other hand, misuse of the new system will result in a lowered reputation. A low reputation means that the power to report and remove potential abuse is diminished, and may even risk suspension.
So there you have it. With this new system, the community now has a vital role in building the value and health of Answers. We’ve updated the Community Guidelines with your input, and will continue to refine them. Even the violation appeals process has been cleaned up.
Although there will undoubtedly be bumps in the road, we believe this is an important step in the right direction. We’ll work with you to make improvements and modifications, so post your feedback in the suggestion boards. We remain dedicated, like so many millions of you, to fostering the health and continued growth of Answers.

Thanks,

The Yahoo! Answers Team
This is not all of the information they have listed, so I’ve provided the link:

http://blog.360.yahoo.com/y_answrs_team;_ylt=AkuidMldrZA46rRiY5sum84_zKIX

So based on this information, do you think that this will make a lot of the bad stuff go away? Reporting violations that aren’t violations? Will it cut down on the trolls, or create more?

I’m asking this in politics because we’ve had so many complaints about people getting suspended and receiving violations that aren’t justified.

1. Not do end rhyming so much.
3. Use metaphors, similes, onomatopoeia’s, and so on.
4. You could also use some internal rhymes ex. The sky didn’t seem as BLUE without YOU.

I’m sorry I told you I wouldn’t leave,

Will you guys read my story on fanfiction.net?

Okay So, I am a twelve year old girl who loves to write. I started writing a story on fanfiction.net trying to see if people would enjoy my writing. My whole family loves it when I write and they always love my stories. I have been wondering if they only say this to encourage me, but I want to know the truth!
The thing is, I’ve only had about 2 reviews when I’d love to get millions! Writing is my favorite thing to do, and even though I am only twelve, I have won plenty of writing contests. I’ve shared my stories with other contest winners, and they said I was like a real author.
Even though some reviews are negative, they help me improve my writing. So what I’m asking from you is to go to fanfiction.net click on “search” Instead of searching for book, search in the author category. My pen name is Alibaba or Alice. Click on my name then scroll to the bottom. Read all of the chapters and review my story! Keep checking for new chapters, I upload one everytwo days. I take one day to write it then upload it that day or the next day.
Please follow my instructions! I am grateful to those who leave comments about my story!

indexing search engines is the process by which your site indexed by search engines. Once you have completed your blog or website, it naturally follows that you want to get your blog or website indexed quickly. indexing search engines is done by using search engines and robots to index websites. How a website is indexed by Google and the search for a particular classification is a well kept secret.

But to be indexed, Google has to know that your site exists. It is important to mention that your site must also be willing to put in an index and non-white or under construction. So how do you get your site found quickly by Google? Here are 10 tips to make your site indexed quickly:

1. Start a Google AdWords campaign, you mention your website in their paid advertising. Google frequently send spiders to assess its quality and even rate your site.

2. Open or by using your Google AdSense account and follow the instructions to place relevant Google ads. Again, send a spider crawl your site and it will be indexed.

3. Create an account at Google Webmaster Tools and add the URL of your site.

Tech Dude answers:

No they’re not. The aim of Facebook is to get more and more people involved and get them to share as much personal information as possible. If they charged for it, a lot of people would leave (many people is aged 13 to 18). The more people they get, the more power they have… They get money from advertising, I think they get money from the “applications” (games etc.), because they have the power to give your personal information to them (when accessing to an application you are asked if you allow to see your info). I find it quite frightening, but well, society is changing. I guess in the future Facebook will also be present on other sites (eg: a newspaper site) and if you want to take an action on that specific site you will have to register with your facebook account. This means that you will be observed while you go netsurfing, and FB will get more and more info on what interests you the most. These are all information that are like gold to companies………………… O_o

It’s a sort of Big Brother……………

Nope, the only charge is whatever you would incur from your cellular provider. But since you have unlimited text and mobile web, it sounds like you have that covered.

Notice the ads on the side when you’re on Facebook? They must get alot of money from those advertisers. I highly doubt it’ll become a pay site, for one, many people would be outraged, so don’t worry…………..

Tech Dude answers:

Definitely not true. It would be stupid for Facebook to lose their advertising revenue and try to gain subscription revenue.

Any time ANY free service/site becomes popular, there are ALWAYS people starting rumors that they’re going to charge. It happened with MSN, AIM, ICQ, MySpace, and so on. Facebook is just another victim of bad rumors.
